In some instances, wasps can nest in the screw holes of the reel casing, resulting in an unsightly rust-like appearance and discharge. Hoselink's new Retractable Hose Reel Plugs will prevent this from happening and can be retro-fitted into any Hoselink reel.
Please note: all new Hoselink Retractable Reels now come with these plugs included. This product has been made available for customers with an existing reel.
Simply push into place in each screw hole on both sides of the hose reel unit to install. The colour matches perfectly with the hose reel casing for a discreet solution to this annoying pest problem.

AustraliaI have had a Hoselink reel for many years. We just finished building a new house & I bought these two reels for the front & back of the house. With my old reel, wasps have made home in the screw holes in the reel, so when I saw you sold the plugs to prevent this, I purchased 2 packs with my order. When my order arrived, the reels already had plugs fitted. I didn't need to buy them as it turneu out. Maybe a mention in the description would be handy. Or a note in the description when buying the plugs, that said new reels already have plugs fitted. Just a thought.

Australiathis prroduct addresses a design omission from early hose reels, which has subsequently been addressed in newer versions of hose reels. It would have been more appreciated if it had been offered at lower cost or at least postage free.

Therefore, customers can purchase these even if their Hose Reel is an older model. We do also state in the description for each Hose Reel that the plugs are now included with purchase.
