Description

Damaged the main hose in your Evolve™ Hose Reel? Did your dog have a nibble or was it clipped by the lawn mower? No problem! Unlike the Classic Series of Retractable Hose Reels, the Evolve™ Series of Reels possesses the option to replace a damaged main hose.

The replacement can be done at home by simply using the two safety keys and following the instructions included with the the replacement hose.

Please read instructions carefully before starting any work on the hose.

WARNING: The two Safety Keys must be fully inserted before you start working on the hose as they stop the drum from retracting. The retracting drum can cause severe bodily harm to fingers and hands. To avoid injury, NEVER attempt to work on replacing the hose without fully inserting both Safety Keys!

Q. Can I put my existing hose in the Evolve™ Reel?
A. No, you won’t be able to use your own hose. The Evolve™ Retractable Hose Reel has its own unique hose, specifically designed with a unique connector in order to make replacing the hose not only possible, but easy.

Q. Can I replace the hose without using the Safety Keys?
A. No, the two Safety Keys are required in order to safely replace the hose. The two keys must be fully inserted before you start working on the hose as they stop the drum from retracting. The retracting drum can cause severe bodily harm to fingers and hands. To avoid injury, NEVER attempt to work on replacing the hose without fully inserting both Safety Keys!

Q. Where do I purchase the Safety Keys?
A. The Safety Keys will be included in any purchase of a replacement hose. As they are only required / used when replacing the main hose.
Accessing the internals of the reel is dangerous, and should only be undertaken with both Safety Keys fully in place, when replacing the main hose.
