Cultivating A Better World

With every product we manufacture and ship, sustainability is our top priority

Sustainability is an ongoing journey
for our team, and we’re dedicated to continually improving our environmental
efforts.

Over the years, we’ve made
significant strides in enhancing our practices, regularly assessing the
lifecycle of our products and packaging to identify areas for improvement.

Our Progress

We have always created our products with the environment in mind – the very foundations of Hoselink were built on durable hose connectors designed to eliminate leaks & bursts, to save our precious water reserves.

Over the past few years, we have identified specific areas that we could improve upon and delivered the following improvements across our business:  

  • Removed over 175,000 polybags from our product packaging

  • Removed 1,500m of bubble wrap from packaging

  • Reduced the size of our Hose Reel boxes

  • Formed a Sustainability Committee to continuously review our efforts for the planet

  • Introduced an eco-friendly Solar Light range

Our Commitment to Change

We are determined to create a better planet for the future and have set out the following commitments that we live to every day,

  • Durability as sustainability

    Our ‘No Leak, No Burst’ hose connectors were designed to save water, and we apply that same commitment to sustainability to every one of our products.

    All of our designs are built for years of
    reliable service, using the best quality materials that meet our strict durability standards. And because longer-lasting products mean less waste in landfill, we make sure as many key components as possible can be repaired or exchanged, instead of the entire product needing to be replaced.

  • Protect and preserve

    We focus on sustainable packaging
    that minimises environmental impact. Since 2019, we’ve replaced as many polybags as possible, reduced the size of our boxes, and replaced mailing satchels with alternatives where possible. All while ensuring every item arrives intact, because a broken product is the biggest waste of all.

  • Reducing waste in transport

    We’ve optimised our supply chain to
    reduce transportation emissions, fully utilise the volume capacity of our shipping containers, and minimise waste – including recycling and salvaging parts at our premises in Sydney.

    We proudly spearhead Australian
    manufacturing, as demonstrated by the Australian designed and made Evolve™ Retractable Hose Reel.

  • Helping Friends

    We’re committed to environmental conservation and protecting Australia’s unique flora and fauna.

    Australia Zoo, Port Stephens Koalas and the Wheen Bee Foundation are just a few examples of our ongoing partnerships.



  • Practice what we preach

    At Hoselink HQ, we’ve invested in solar panels, minimised waste with a comprehensive recycling programme, and reduced paper usage by more than half in the office. We’ve also switched to eco-friendly cleaning and bathroom supplies, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability at every level.
