How do I assemble it? Do I need tools?

Light assembly - attach the water inlet, feet and crank handle, fit the supplied no-burst fittings and hook up to the tap.

Is it manual or automatic rewind?

Manual wind - turn the crank handle to rewind. A self-layering mechanism lays the hose neatly inside as you wind, so you never have to handle it.

What hose length and size does it use?

Comes pre-fitted with a 30m Superflex hose. Suitable for 12mm hoses only, and connects to any standard Australian tap.

What's your returns policy?

    Brilliant Product

    My new purchase looks awesome!The metal hose reel box is well made. It very easy to put set up and is a dream to use! I am so happy I purchased one! The delivery was fast and the item was packed with care. We have a dog who chews hoses and this was the very thing we needed! It protects the hose, is aesthetically pleasing, and no tangled hose!     Excellent Product

    These are great - this is the second unit I have purchased (one for front, one for back). It is an elegant solution that is well engineered, solidly constructed and requires minimal construction out of the box. If you are not agile or strong you'll need help as the unit does weigh a bit (not an issue for me but I could forsee some folks would need assistance with this).

    Anyway, I love this product. Would recommend to anyone wanting a neat and tidy solution to your garden hose problem. Oh and the hose and fittings are brillant. Quality flexible connections, no leaks. :)

    The hose box should suit our purposes however as we have not been able to purchase a hoselink hose to go into the box we cannot say how well it will operate. It currently looks like an impressive garden feature.

    Plastic fantastic

    For a box that looks military-grade online, it's fairly startling to discover that inside it's a festival of wildly cheap feeling plastic, and a strong warning to "not over tighten" the metal clamp over the hose to plastic male port, a warning of which hovers around your head like that third-grade teacher reappearing in your dreams chastising you, as you sweat while giving it one more turn hoping that it will simultaneously remedy the leak and not cracking the cheap fitting. I feel like if you're going to go through the rigmarole of offshore manufacturing and tightening the bottom line to ride out longer on a great reputation built over time, maybe there's merit in keeping some of the functional components, well, functional, especially in a unit that is going to inherently get as much wear and tear as an outdoor reel. Not sure I'd drop $250 on this and after seeing the Maddeford alternatives built with some proper engineering, I can't see how this thing would have much life in it.
