Hoselink’s durable Universal Tap Connectors are specially designed to deliver a 100% watertight seal. Using the included reducer, the Universal Tap Connecter can fit the majority of Australian 3/4" BSP threasded outdoor taps. To fit a larger 1" BSP threased tap, simpley unscrew and remove the reducer.
As the Universal Tap Connector has a female thread, it can also be used to replace the connection on any other accessories that have a male 3/4" or 1" BSP thread. For example, pressure washers (Gerni and Karcher), caravans, boats, and some manual wind hose reels.
The Gen 2 Universal Tap Connector has been completely reworked from the ground up and, for the first time, made and assembled right here in Australia. Same no-leak, no-burst promise you've trusted for over 20 years, now in a more compact, lighter, and even more durable package. Designed with the same connector face, Gen 2 fittings are 100% backwards compatible with your existing 12mm Hoselink fittings.
The new Universal Tap Connector design is smaller in size creating a shorter connection between your hose and your tap.
A new cylinder o-ring in the face of the Hose End Connector also means that you will never lose an o-ring. Even if the fittngs are undone under pressure.
Built to outlast the Aussie elements the Gen 2 Fittings come with a 3-year warranty.

Q. What is the difference between the Gen 2 and Gen 1 Connectors?
A. The Gen 2 Connectors have been completely rewoked from the ground up and, for the first time, made and assembled right here in Australia. Smaller, lighter and more durable then Gen 1 connectors.
The Gen 2 Universal Tap Connector is lighter, more compact and more durable.
Q. Are the Gen 1 and Gen 2 Connectors compatible?
A. Yes! All Gen 1 and Gen 2 Connectors share the same connector face and are 100% compatible.
Q. Will the Universal Tap Connector fit my tap?
A. Yes, it will fit any of the 2 common tap sizes found around Australia (3/4" or 1"), by using it either with or without the supplied reducer.
Q. What is the purpose of the reducer on the Universal Tap Connector?
A. The Universal Tap Connector is made up of 2 parts - the reducer (small ridged section at the top) and the main body. Therefore the Universal Tap Connector will fit any tap, either by using it with the reducer screwed in, or by unscrewing and removing the reducer and screwing the main body directly onto the tap.
