Does't seem to like being in the hot sun
Easy to setup. Easy to use. If it is located in the direct sun on a hot day, it won't let water thru until it cools down or you unscrew it and cool it under the tap. A bit inconvenient.

Doesn't like it in the hot sun
As long as it doesn't get too hot, this timer works well. Easy to use. The timer has the batteries located behind the dial and this does tend to come off inadvertently a bit too easily at times. There seems to be a problem if it is located in full sun on very hot days. Three times now, I have gone to water the garden in the heat, but no water comes out. I have had to unscrew the timer and cool it under the tap before it will let water through. Don't know if the mechanicals expand and lock up or if it affects the electronics.
