Q. What is the difference between the Gen 2 and Gen 1 Connectors?
A. The Gen 2 Connectors have been completely rewoked from the ground up and, for the first time, made and assembled right here in Australia. Smaller, lighter and more durable then Gen 1 connectors.
The Gen 2 Hose End Connector with Flow Control has a fetures a redeigned flow control valve and stenghtened lever.
Q. Are the Gen 2 and Gen 1 Connectors compatible?
A. Yes! All Gen 2 and Gen 1 Connectors share the same connector face and are 100% compatible.
Q. Can I use this product on any hose?
A. No, this Hose Connector with Flow Control is only suitable for use with a standard garden hose which has a 12mm diameter.
Q. How do I use the Hose Connector with Flow Control?
A. You need to fit it to the spray end of your hose, just like you would a Hoselink Hose End Connector. If you already have a Hose End Connector on the end of your hose, you can replace it with a Hose Connector with Flow Control.
Q. How do I remove the Hose End Connector from my hose?
A. Unscrew the nut and remove the connector body from your hose, leaving the stem and white split ring attached. Use a screwdriver to lever the split ring a few centimetres up the hose. Place the stem and hose end into a cup of very hot water to soften the hose. Drain off the water, put the stem between your feet and pull the hose straight up.
Q. Can I use the Hose Connector with Flow Control at the tap end, as a tap?
A. No, this product is designed for a one way flow of water. It must have water flowing out of it, not into it and will not work at the tap.
Q. What does the Hose Connector with Flow Control do?
A. An internal drum valve allows you to turn the water flow on or off and to adjust water pressure when needed. This makes it a convenient addition to your hose.
