Terms & Conditions | Win an $8,000 Garden Makeover

Introduction

1. The Hoselink competition is promoted by Hose-Pro International, ABN: 33 096 552 751 Address: 1/108 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale, NSW, 2100, Australia. Ph 1300 900 617

2. The promotion commences on 00:01 AEST 25th October 2022, and entries close 23:59 AEST 7th November 2022.

3. Anyone who enters the Competition (an "Entrant") will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

Eligibility to Enter

4. The competition is open to all Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Friends and Family of Employees of Hose-Pro International and any persons deemed to have an association with the promotion are not eligible to enter.

5. By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.

6. It is also a condition of entry to the Garden Makeover competition that entrants agree to receive Hoselink marketing material.

7. By entering this competition, each entrant agrees that if they win the competition, they will make themselves available to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the promoter, without any payment or other compensation.

How to Enter

7. The maximum number of entries that can be awarded to a person is 78.

8. Entries can be made via the links hosted on www.hoselink.com.au/win

9. The entry mechanisms include:

  • Submit your answer to the question “Let us know in a few words, why should you win Hoselink’s Garden Makeover?” – 20 entries
  • Subscribing to our newsletter – 5 entries
  • Visiting our Facebook page – 1 entry
  • Visiting our Instagram page – 1 entry
  • Visiting our YouTube page – 1 entry
  • Sharing the competition with friends – 10 entries
  • Subscribing to our SMS notifications – 10 entries
  • Make a purchase over $99 at Hoselink.com.au – 15 entries
  • Completing all entry mechanisms - 15 bonus entries

The Prize

10. The grand prize will be distributed to one winner, to the estimated total value of AU$8,000. There are three components of the Garden Makeover prize:

  • Initial consultation | Up to thirty-minute call with Hoselink’s horticulturist Ben Hayman to assess outdoor space needs before the makeover.
  • One day (7 hours) with Ben Hayman and his assistant making over the winner’s outdoor space.
  • Free Hoselink products and plants based on initial consultation advice.


11. The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.

12. We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.

Winner Announcement

13. To be eligible to win, you must enter via the Gleam widget on the competition page and at a minimum submit an answer to the question of why you deserve to win.

14. The winner will be chosen on 8th November 2022.

15. Hoselink will make two attempts to contact the winner via email.

16. If the winner does not respond to the emails informing them of their win within 14 days of the second email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Hoselink reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.

Delivery of the Prize

17. Hoselink will get in touch with the winner will within 14 days to schedule

18. The initial consultation with Ben Hayman

19. Time for the one-day makeover with Ben Hayman, and Hoselink’s film/production crew

20. If the prize or portion of the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.

21. The free Hoselink products will be delivered on the day of the makeover by the Hoselink team.

Data Protection and Publicity

22. You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Hose-Pro International for the purposes of administering the competition.

23. If requested by Hose-Pro International, the winner agrees to release their first and last name and place of the outdoor space they want the makeover for.

24. The winner’s first name will be announced on Hoselink’s social media channels.

25. All information collected may be re-used for marketing purposes by Hoselink, it will not be passed onto any third party.

26. The winner agrees to show up for the initial consultation with Ben Haymen via phone.

27. The winner agrees to allow their space and themselves to be filmed and photographed for marketing purposes by Hoselink.

Limitation of Liability

28. Hose-Pro International accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.

29. In no event shall Hose-Pro International, nor any of its employees and associates be liable for any special, consequential, incidental, direct and indirect damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages to the winner's property or private belongings) arising out of the Garden Makeover Competition.

30. The makeover activity may not proceed if poor weather conditions make it unsafe to do so.

31. The winning entrant will be contacted as soon as possible if weather conditions before or on the day make it unsafe or unable to conduct the makeover activity and it is therefore necessary to postpone.

General

32. Hose-Pro International reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
