Our Three-Day-Green formula is specifically designed to feed grass and have your lawn looking in tip-top shape. It only contains the elements that grasses require in large quantities, those being Nitrogen, Magnesium, Iron and Potassium. However, we’ve have also included Potassium Fulvic Acid in the recipe to assist bacterial movement in the soil and help achieve consistent water retention. This particular ingredient is crucial in the generation of Humic Acid, which is what actually holds water in the soil for longer. No other lawn-based solution that’s currently on the market contains Potassium Fulvic Acid.

Super Grow is the complete, multi-purpose fertiliser that services all your varieties of flora and proudly contains all 16 essential elements for plants. The variety can be largely attributed to the intricate structure of nutrients in one special ingredient, Fish Hydrolysate, which is made up of all essential bacteria-fighting elements that fish consume from deep-sea plant matter. Passing on this nutrient-dense, concentrated fish component to your plants drastically boosts garden health, stimulates fruiting and flowering and helps fight off bacteria and diseases. If your flora is regularly fertilised with Super Grow, you’ll never have to worry about spraying insect repellent or disease-control products again.

Like Super Grow, Plant Health contains every element in the atomic table in small quantities, in addition to the benefits that naturally sourced seaweed and kelp already provide. However, because it doesn’t contain high levels of major elements like Nitrogen, Potassium and Magnesium, this makes Plant Health a safer, gentler stabiliser for some of your younger plants. In this way, think of Plant Health as the perfect complement to Super Grow. Whilst Super Grow should be the bulk of your garden’s diet, Plant Health is the supplement that provides an extra edge in maintaining strong health and stimulating growth.

The 3-Day-Green treatment is best applied soon after mowing, preferably in the morning or evening to avoid strong sunlight on dispersal. However, if fungal/weed problems are evident, look to apply mid-morning to avoid the dew that can emerge in the night and at dawn. 3-Day-Green can be applied fortnightly or monthly in conjunction with how often you mow, however there’s no need to overdo it. This treatment is most useful when you notice your lawn needs a pick-me-up in terms of colour and thickness.

Similarly to the 3-Day-Green, the Super-Grow and Plant-Health treatment should be applied in the morning or evening. However, dependant on the specific type of flora you’re applying them too, you should refer to the back of either bottle as a guide for how often you should apply them.

Unfortunately our old model Fertiliser Spray Mixer (with the clear bottle) is not suitable for use with any of these products due to the inability to accurately measure dispertion rates from this particular vessel. We are soon introducing a more advanced model that has been specifically designed for use with our range of fertilisers. You'll find the mixing ratios for use with this product on the back of each product, to make it quick and easy to know how much to mix. If not using Hoselink's new Fertiliser Spray Mixer, you can always apply the product using a watering can. The new mixer will be available in late April 2019.

Given that the 3-Day-Green is a 3-day solution, we recommend that you wait until the fourth or fifth day after applying before mowing. This way, you’ve given the fertiliser maximum time to reach its maximum surface area and can then judge the outcome more accurately.

As a rule of thumb, our fertilisers are safe to be around once initially dried. However, to be completely safe we advise you keep the kids away from the garden for at least 24 hours, preferably 36-48 hours if possible as this gives your lawn ample time to absorb the treatment. As for pets, many of our four-legged friends like dogs, cats, rabbits and most farm animals tend to graze on lawns, which means they should be kept away until you’ve finished your first mow, post fertilisation.

Because of the potency of the ingredients being used, fertilisers can stain like red wine on a white linen shirt. If you unfortunately do happen to spill one of the products, you should aim to rinse it off ASAP to lower the chance of staining. For this reason, we recommend you have a bucket of water or a Hoselink Hose reel nearby when using our fertilisers near hard surfaces. If the stain has set in and solidified, we recommend applying either ’30 Seconds – Outdoor Cleaner’ or CLR (Calcium Lime Rust), both available in most hardware stores. Many fertiliser users have had proven success removing stains from hard surfaces with these products. However, it’s important to remember to test the product you use on a very small portion of your hard surface to ensure no damage is incurred.

Most definitely! But its crucial to retrace your plant’s timeline and understand the cause. Whether or not it’s the plant’s water intake, sunlight intake, fertiliser intake, or disease/pest infestation, how you take your next steps can differ. For example, in many cases simply moving the plant to a different location, re-soiling, trimming dead foliage, and carefully managing water intake can be enough to save it. However, if nutrient deficiency is the main cause then our product can be put to use. Look for collapsing, discoloured foliage and slow growth as a sign you need to take action. We recommend you start by re-soiling to strengthen the roots, then look to apply two dosages, seven days apart at double the standard rate. Afterwards, apply fortnightly and gradually reduce the dosage back to the normal rate whilst sticking to your standard watering schedule. Plant revival can take weeks, even months so patience and constant monitoring is required. If you feel like you’ve left it too late and the plant can’t be saved you can still compost the plant, this is a sustainable and eco-friendly way of facilitating plant regeneration. To avoid the deadly, yet common mistake of over-fertilising your lawn and plants, please refer to the back of our bottles and pay close attention to the recommended dilution rates.
