Q. What size handles does it fit?
A. It clamps onto round tool shafts up to 4 cm in diameter, which covers the majority of standard rakes, shovels, forks, trowels and brooms. If you're unsure, measure across the thickest part of your handle before ordering.
Q. Will it fit oval or D-shaped handles?
A. It's designed to fit both styles of handle.
Q. Do both handles go on one tool, or one on each tool?
A. Either. Fit both to a single tool for extra leverage and control, or put one on each of two your favorite tools so you're not moving a handle back and forth.
Q. Do I need any tools to fit it?
A. No. The wing nuts tighten by hand. No spanner or screwdriver needed. Loosen them any time to reposition or move the handle to another tool.
Q. Where should I position it on the shaft?
A. Wherever feels balanced and comfortable for the job, most people sit it around a third to halfway down.
Q. Will it slip while I'm working?
A. The stainless steel clamps hold firmly once the wing nuts are done up. As with any clamp, give them a quick check now and then and retighten if needed.
Q. Is it suitable for arthritis or a weak grip?
A. Yes, that's exactly who it's made for. The upright grip keeps your wrist in a natural position and lets you use stronger arm and shoulder muscles instead of straining the hand.
Q. Can it be used one handed, and does it suit left or right hand?
A. Yes to both. It's a genuine help for anyone working one handed, and it fits comfortably for either hand.
Q. What's it made of, and will it rust?
A. Constructed from a hard wearing polymer handle with stainless steel clamps, so it resists rust. We'd still suggest storing tools undercover to get the longest life from them.
Q. Is it compatible with the Easi-Grip Arm Support Cuff?
A. Yes, it's designed to work with the Easi-Grip Arm Support Cuff.
Q. Does it come with a warranty?
A. It comes with a one year warranty.
