A. Gen 2 connectors have been redesigned from the ground up and are now made and assembled in Australia. They’re lighter, more compact, and tested to be stronger and more durable than Gen 1. Every Gen 2 connector also has a new o-ring that’s held in place, so it won’t fall out.

A. Yes. Gen 1 and Gen 2 connectors have the same connector face, so you can mix and match them freely.
Q. Will the Universal Tap Connector fit my tap?
A. It fits most Australian outdoor taps with a 3/4" or 1" BSP thread, the two common sizes. Use the reducer for a 3/4" tap, or remove it for a 1" tap.
