Helpful additions to the Leader Hose Extension | Charcoal
For use with Hoselink Retractable Hose Reels.
Hoselink Retractable Hose Reels come fitted with a 2m leader hose. By adding the 1.5m Leader Hose Extension it creates a 3.5m long hose between the tap and Hose Reel.
By adding the 5m Leader Hose Extension to the Reel, you create a 7m long hose between the tap and Hose Reel.
The Charcoal Leader Hose Extension comes in a 1.5m or 5m length with a Hose Connector fitted on either end. Simply connect one end to the Tap Connector and the other end to the Hose Reel Leader Hose.
As the Leader Hose Extension provides additional length, there will be a join between two Hose Connectors where the Extension connects to the Hose Reel Leader Hose. This is completely safe due to the no-burst nature of Hoselink Hose Fittings.
The Leader Hose Extension is constructed from the same hose used inside the hose reel. This means you can also use it to extend the length of your reel. Just keep in mind however, the extension will not retract back into the casing.
Please note that the 25m Hi-flow Retractable Hose Reel has a larger internal diameter hose, so you will need to select the Hi-Flow Leader Hose Extension for this reel. Hi-Flow Retractable Hose Reels have now been discontinued.
The Hose and Fittings are covered by a 2-year warranty.

Q. Can I use the Hi-Flow Leader Hose Extension with your regular Hoselink retractable reels?
A. Yes, you can. The Hi-Flow Leader Hose Extension is fitted with 14mm Hoselink fittings, which are compatible with regular 12mm fittings. In fact, it may even assist with better water flow to the hose reel.
Q. Can I use a Leader Hose Extension to extend the main length on my Hoselink retractable hose reel?
A. You can use the leader hose extensions to add additional length to the main length of your hose reel hose. However, the additional length will not retract into the casing as it's only designed to hold the amount of hose it's pre-fitted with.
