Hi We bought 2 of these units, hoping for a good auto water dispenser for our dog and chickens.

As soon as they were assembled the top cover clip in tags stopped holding the unit together. Leading to

the reservoir constantly over filling and leaking everywhere, wasting lots of water.

As the valve closes it makes a shrieking noise, until it finally shuts off the water.

Today I went in to our chook pen to check on them, to find the water reservour completely empty, due to the water in the float leaking out and not allowing it to drop down and refill .

So yes, I'm not very impressed with these at all.

Great size for my Shiba Inu, love that I know he will always have water available while I'm not home.

Super easy to set up as well. Hose connections feel sturdy and no leaks. Have been using this for approximately one month.

The Hoselink products are exceptional, but this item or at least the one I was supplied with isn't worthy of the Hoeslink branding. The float mechanism is flimsy and sticks and consequently this product simply does not work in the manner intended or advertised. I am not someone to complain as a rule and haven't even contacted the company for a refund, but I wouldn't be purchasing this item if you are considering it. It doesn't deserve one star frankly. Every other Hoselink product I have purchased works perfectly and is of above average quality. I thoroughly recommend Hoselink products, but also recommend Hoselink upgrade the float mechanism in the auto fill pet bowl so as not to let inferior products tarnish their good reputation.
