Q. What's the difference between a Soaker Hose and a Weeper Hose?
A. A Soaker Hose is a plastic hose with holes throughout its length and emits a spray outwards, similar to a sprinkler. A Weeper Hose slowly "weeps" water and looks like it is dripping. Because Weeper Hoses drip directly into the ground underneath them, they are suitable for watering garden beds, can be buried under mulch and are useful for conserving water. Soaker Hoses, on the other hand, act more like a sprinkler. Many people like to use them on nature strips or other long sections of garden.

AustraliaVery pleased . Great idea that you can connect 2 horse to each Otha if you need. Holes for spray are very good size and gives a good wetting as droplets are a bit bigger. And fly away in the breeze
AustraliaI've got my soaker hose on a narrow garden bed and I carefully positioned the holes under plants so that the sprays remained within a defined area. Success!! I went out with a moisture meter this morning, and every bit of the garden bed showed the desired level of moisture in the soil. I'm happy!!

Australia AustraliaAfter purchasing another popular brand at Bunnings and being totally disappointed we read the Hoselink reviews and purchased 3 soaker hoses for our newly laid grass - 2 have worked well and one has not i.e. an issue with the water getting through the holes. Also it is hard to know which way they should face up without getting wet.
