You’re no doubt all too familiar with your hose bursting off your tap! There is nothing more frustrating than when you’re using your hose whether it be watering your garden or washing your car and you have to keep trudging back to the tap because the hose has blown off due to the water pressure.
The Tap to Hose Connector will securely connect the tap to the hose and you will never again have to worry about the pressure blowing them apart. The Tap to Hose Connector is made up of two Hoselink parts:
-
Tap Connector; and
-
Hose Connector
The Hoselink Tap Connector screws directly onto the tap thread, making it water tight and impossible to burst off. This differs from the old style of hose fittings which would ‘click’ onto (or ‘snap’ onto) the tap, a poor design that would blow off under the slightest pressure. It includes a reducer so will fit 2 tap sizes found around Australia.
The Hoselink Hose Connector has been uniquely designed, using a barb and white split ring, which clamps the hose onto the fitting making it almost impossible to come apart.
The above two parts have a bayonet type design which simply join together with a point and twist, connecting your hose to your tap and giving you peace of mind the two will never blow apart.
This Tap to Hose connector will fit onto your EXISTING tap and hose (you do not have to purchase a new hose). The faces of each fitting are identical making it more versatile than any other hose fittings available on the market.
Our Hoselink fittings are extremely durable.
Our Hoselink fittings will solve your leaking and bursting problems.
Tap to Hose Connector consists of the below individual parts:
-
1 x Tap Connector (2320); and
-
1 x Hose Connector (2420)
The above parts can be purchased individually, however it is cheaper to buy them as a set (Tap to Hose Connector) or in a Starter Kit.
Tap Thread
Our fittings fit ¾” and 1" BSP tap threads. The most common tap size in Australia is 1”. Please be aware that our tap connectors come with a ¾” reducer, so if the tap connector does not initially fit onto your tap (you probably have a 1” tap size) so unscrew and remove the tap reducer. If you do have a 1” tap size, the reducer is not needed.
Hose Size
Hoselink Hose Fittings fit 12mm (1/2”) garden hoses only. This is the standard size garden hose. PLEASE NOTE our fittings DO NOT fit the commercial size 18mm (3/4”) hoses.
