I am 54 years old and I have been cursing my hole life with all of those other hose fittings popping off the hose and breaking. I must have bought 200 fittings over the years of other brands and they were all total rubbish... I love these fitting because my wife is finally not getting me to fix the hose 10 times a day when she is watering. The one thing you must do is buy the hose link hoses though because the other cheap brands just split because now you actually have pressure in the hose because the fitting don't leak or pop off....
