Hoselink is designed to fit a standard 12mm (or ½”) garden hose (not 18mm hoses). You can either fit our hose fittings onto your existing hose, or upgrade to one of our great quality hoses, or even the all in one solution - Auto Rewind Hose Reels.

Most of our customers start by purchasing one of our Starter Kits to replace the current fittings on one of their hoses. Then once they’ve tried it out and seen just how good these connectors are, they come back for more. Sometimes upgrading all of their fittings, hoses and hose reels!

Wondering what to buy?

If you have 1 Tap and 1 Hose you’ll need 1 Starter Kit
If you have 2 Taps and 2 Hoses you’ll need 2 Starter Kits
If you have 2 Taps and 1 Hose you’ll need 1 Starter Kit and 1 Tap Connector
If you have 1 Tap and 2 hoses (and you want to join the two hoses together) you’ll need 1 Starter Kit and 1 Hose Joiner Set

Using Your Existing Garden Accessories with Hoselink

This is easily done by unscrewing the male click-on connector from your existing garden accessory to reveal a thread, so you can screw an Accessory (Male) Connector (2470) in (see below).

In fact, we recommend you purchase additional Male Connectors to leave screwed into each of your watering accessories to make switching accessories easier.
Alternatively, our Click-on Adaptor (2490) allows you to use Hoselink with a click-on type accessory that does not present with a thread (see below).

On The Caravan

Fits standard 12mm hoses

Drinking water quality hoses are recommended for caravan water supply to give better tasting water than using a regular garden hose. Hoselink now stocks Drinking Water hoses in 10m and 20m lengths, as well as Hose Bags for an easy hose storage system.

Wondering what to buy?

First, check the connection point (thread) on your caravan. If you purchase a Starter Kit, so you have a nozzle or spray gun for washing then you can add any additional fittings as required.

If your caravan provides a:

Female Thread (thread is on the inside), you’ll just need a Starter Kit
Male Thread (thread is on the outside), you’ll need a Starter Kit and a Tap Connector
US Female Thread (US thread on the inside, check with the manufacturer), we recommend a Starter Kit and a US Thread Male Connector

Using our hose fittings on non-Hoselink hose reels

Because there are many makes and models available, check the information below carefully before deciding what you will need. The connection at the tap and the at the spray end of the hose can always be converted to Hoselink hose fittings.

To confirm whether the connection point on the OUTSIDE of your hose reel can be used with Hoselink, check whether the male click-on fitting remains stationary when the reel is being unwound, OR does it turn with the reel?

Depending on connection on the OUTSIDE of the Hose Reel	We suggest you purchase
IF it turns with the hose reel, then Hoselink is NOT suitable at this connection point.	A Starter Kit Only
IF it remains stationary, Hoselink IS suitable at this connection point. YOU’LL NEED TO unscrew the male click-on connection on your hose reel to check what type of thread it presents with.	A Starter Kit AND If hose reel has a female thread: 2430 Hose to Accessory Connector. OR If hose reel has a male thread: 2310 Tap to Hose Connector

Most water tanks have a conventional tap at the tank that our Tap Connector will screw straight onto. In this case, simply choose one of our Starter Kits, which contain all the necessary fittings to set up one hose to one tap.

Some customers have asked about using Hoselink with pumps on water tanks. Our pressure testing has shown that our Hose Fittings can withstand very high pressure, so there is unlikely to be any issue when using Hoselink with a pump. For more information, see our Testing and Technology page.

Pressure Washers

Hoselink is the perfect solution for pressure washers because we know through testing they can withstand extremely high pressures without bursting off the pressure washer, tap or hose.

We recommend you purchase a Starter Kit, and either an additional Tap Connector (if the thread on your pressure washer is a male thread) or an additional Male Connector (if the thread on your pressure washer is a female thread). You can then leave the Hoselink fitting on the pressure washer, ready to attach your hose anytime.

For Watering Systems

Hoselink is adaptable for use with polypipe watering systems too!

If you are using a black polypipe watering system, then Hoselink can be adapted to attach directly with a Hose Connector. Follow our fitting instructions as per usual but you’ll need to cut about 5mm from the white split ring prior to fitting the Hose Connector. See video instructions.
