Hoselink on Hose Reels

Hoselink fittings can work beautifully with both manual and automatic hose reels.

There are many makes and models of hose reels, so check the information below carefully before deciding whether Hoselink is suitable and what you will need. There are 4 connection points on a typical hose reel.

A Starter Kit will fit up the connection points at the tap and at the spray end. However, many owners point out that the connection on the outside of the hose reel leaks and/or bursts off underpressure.

This is how to check if Hoselink is suitable to connect directly on to your Hose Reel. Does the Male Click-On Adapter which connects the hose to the reel, remain stationary when the Reel is being unwound, OR does it turn with the Reel?

If it turns with the hose reel, then unfortunately Hoselink is NOT suitable at this connection point.	A Starter Kit Only
If it remains stationary, the Hoselink IS suitable at this connection point too. Unscrew the male click-on connection on your hose reel to check what type of thread it presents.	A Starter Kit AND If hose reel has a female thread: 2430 Hose to Accessory Connector. OR If hose reel has a male thread: 2310 Tap to Hose Connector
On the inside of the hose reel	Not Suitable
At the spray end	Yes!
