The Digital Tap Timer with Flow Meter measures water flow based on volume, rather than time. This allows you to select how much water is actually used at each watering session.

It is a versatile device which is easy to program. It allows for hourly, daily, weekly and specific day of the week watering times (eg. Mondays and Thursdays).

It utilises a reliable solenoid valve and has an easy on/off switch for out of cycle tap use. Features a weatherproof cover.

Ideal for watering systems set up from water tanks.

This product has been tested to 100,000 on/off cycles.

Requires 9V battery for operation (not included).

Please note: This product is not suitable for drip lines or soaker hoses as the flow is not strong enough to turn the gauge that measures water flow.

1	Day of the week	Set today’s day
2	Time	Using 24 hour clock, set the time now
3	Start	Time you want watering to commence
4	LIT	How many litres you want to be watered
5	Mist Cycle	Most users will select 100%
6	Cycle Time	Frequency – how often water is released. 1 Day is most commonly used. See Table 1 (P.7) for more info.
7	Watering Days	Put a raindrop next to each day you want watering to occur
8	Prog. ON/OFF	Turns the system on or off

A Tap Timer that Works

I have had a number of set ups to time our troughs watering from a rainwater tank. All though clumsy worked well for a time until we bought and set up a Hoselink system plus the Tap timer operating from the tank. At first I was baffled that the timer/flow meter would deliver only 10 litres regardless of how many times I tried to set it for 50 litres. Then I realised that I had to set the maximum out put separately. With the curser on the output figure Hold down the off button until the figures flash then change it to the required amount. Now it works perfectly. It has been running for about 7 months now without a fault. I recommend this Tap Timer with flow meter for any discerning gardener.
